The Public Relations Society of America Inland Empire Chapter (PRSA-IE) recently gave a Polaris Award, its highest honor, to a brand refresh that JPW Communications (JPW) completed for the City of Eastvale.
The City of Eastvale tapped JPW to refine its brand so that it better reflected its community character, while delivering a more consistent visual identity. By working closely with the city, JPW developed a brand narrative, branding identity guidelines, modernized the existing logo and created a letterhead suite.
“By first working to understand the city’s objectives and needs, we were able to revamp its overall graphic identity—and provide a logo that now clearly defines Eastvale from other neighboring cities,” said JPW Art Director Kelly Grady, who completed all the design work for this project. “We also provided city staff with the resources they need to maintain the brand’s consistent look."
The city’s new graphic templates have been deployed across the agency’s website, social media, email signatures and collateral—leaving Eastvale with an identity that is more contemporary and in-line with its community character.
