Ari has a passion for community. It’s what gets her out of bed in the morning.
A lifelong resident of North San Diego County, Ari has spent her life and career focused on service and engagement with her community.
This passion started when Ari was in high school, with her involvement in leadership and service at the Boys and Girls Club of San Marcos. The organization provided a platform to learn the nitty and gritty of non-profit work. Ari brings this to bear today in her new role as a Communications Specialist.
In this role, Ari provides support on all JPW clients including strategic communications, community outreach strategies and marketing campaigns, and keeps the team organized by managing day-to-day client activity.
Prior to joining JPW Communications, Ari worked as a lead Ambassador for The San Marcos Promise, a non-profit that guides and supports students on their pathways to college and into the workforce. Ari provided support to the Executive Director for daily operations and oversaw the internship program. Ari was a perfect fit for this role, as a previous participant in the program. Ari credits The San Marcos Promise with giving her with the tools she needed to become a first generation college graduate in her family.
She also worked as a marketing student assistant in the California State University San Marcos Career Center, overseeing all communications to students including email marketing, campus outreach, branding campaigns and social media.
Ari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University San Marcos, she placed on the Dean’s list every semester and graduated with a 3.8 GPA.
