JPW Communications is thrilled to announce that several of its clients were recognized for outstanding work in communications and public outreach at yesterday’s EPIC Awards ceremony hosted by the California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO) in Monterey.

The annual CAPIO EPIC Awards recognizes excellence in government communications, honoring the best public information projects and programs across California.

"We are thrilled for our clients' accomplishments and are proud to have supported them in achieving this recognition," said Jenny Windle, CEO of JPW Communications. "Their success is a testament to the value of effective communication and outreach efforts."

Taking home top honors with an EPIC Award were the City of San Marcos for the San Marcos Creek District social media campaign; Rancho California Water District for the Journey of Water video; and Western Water for their Wake Up with Western video series. An award of distinction was also presented to Sacramento Area Sewer District for their Stop the Clog campaign.

JPW supported these award-winning entries in various ways – from strategy, content creation, creative concepting, videography, animation, writing and graphic design.

The company was also honored by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) in September with three awards. JPW swept first, second and third place prizes for graphic design projects, with San Marcos Unified School District’s mental health campaign, Let’s Face It Together, coming in first; the City of Tustin’s community rebrand effort taking second place; and Western Water’s rebrand in third.

“We are particularly pleased to be recognized for all three of our branding efforts by this national organization of industry pros,” continued Windle.

Finally, JPW was honored on the international stage by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals with four Hermes Creative Awards. A platinum award was given for Western Water’s strategic plan; gold awards were given for the Let’s Face It Together strategic plan and marketing materials; and an honorable mention was given to Western Water for its rebranding campaign.

"Kudos go to the JPW team who works tirelessly day-in and day-out to provide our clients with the very best quality work possible. These awards underscore our commitment to always delivering on that promise,” said Windle.
